Two ingredient facial toner!!
Green tea is an herbal drink that has been around for centuries. It is best known for its antioxidant properties and the stimulant effects of its caffeine. Green tea also contains polyphenols that are said to protect against free radicals, toxins and some cancers. Green tea also contains a number of healthy benefits for skin. It can provide a measure of sun protection, help reduce inflammation and increase the skin’s elasticity. Green tea toner can cleanse and reduce the appearance of pores and give your skin a youthful glow. Making green tea toner at home is an inexpensive way to enhance your skin care routine. Here are some helpful steps to show you how to make a green tea toner.
Its so easy to make.
Boil about a 1/2 cup of distilled water. put in your organic green tea.  Either loose ,tea bag, or tea leaf steeper.  Let sit for 10 min. or longer till totally cool.  Remove tea, and of course if its loose pour thru a strainer.  Add in 4 drops of Young Living lavender essential oil or 4 drops of Young Living Purification oil.  Shake or stir  and your ready to apply with a cotton ball or  make-up pad.  I use lavender because it is soothing and wonderful for my skin.  Acne prone skip will like purification . It works amazingly!  Tea Tree is also a possibility! And so is lemon!    Its a great way to freshen up during the day and especially during the summer.You can store in the refrigerator  but  I never have.
